FAQ

Q: What is the difference between Real Estate Agent and Real Estate Investor?
A: There are quite a number of differences between an Agent and an Investor. The main difference is that an Agent normally represents you the home seller or home buyer in some cases, while an Investor only represents himself. Another difference is that an Agent is licensed by the state and therefore regulated by the state. Investors need to follow state laws as does everyone else, however, they are not regulated by any governmental agency. Real Estate Agents normally make money out of commissions from the sale of the home, while investors make money by buying/selling properties and/or contracts.
Q: The bank has started the foreclosure process. Will filing for Bankruptcy stop that process and save my home?
A: NO! It might postpone it at best, but banks still have the ability to foreclose on your property even if you did file for Bankruptcy. Now you have both a Foreclosure and Bankruptcy on your credit report.
Q: How will a foreclosure affect my credit?
A: Foreclosures are very damaging. Lenders will not even consider giving you a long for at least 4-5 years and when they do, it will be a very high interest rate until the foreclosure is removed 10 years later.
Q: Can I show your information to my attorney?
A: Of course! We would be happy to show it to your attorney and answer any questions they may have.
Q: If you are able to negotiate a forbearance agreement on my behalf, is there any cost?
A: Absolutely not. We are happy that we were able to help you and all we ask is that you tell someone that you know that is in a similar situation.
